School Uniform

All clothing should be clearly labelled with your child’s name. This is especially important, as uniform items look similar and can easily be confused for another child’s. The school cannot accept responsibility for any lost items.

Where can School Uniform be Purchased?

If you would like to purchase items with the Lea Community CP logo on, these can be purchased from Top One Uniforms, 39 St Johns Centre, Preston (opposite the bus station). You can contact them on: 01772 828616.

Water bottles are available from school if you would like to purchase a school one. You just need to log on to SCOpay and purchase one via the app.

Jewellery

On health and safety grounds, we do not allow children to wear jewellery to school (except for small studs and watches, however these must be removed, by the child, for PE).

School Shoes

Please consider Velcro or pull on shoes. Shoes with laces should only be worn if YOUR child is able to tie them independently without the need for adult assistance.

School Trousers and Skirts

Please consider elasticated waist /pull on trousers or skirts; those with zips and buttons/ fasteners should only be worn if your child is able to fasten them independently without the need for adult assistance.

PE Kit

On PE days, children should come to school dressed in their PE kit and school jumper or school hoody (optional). There is no requirement to keep any PE kit in school.

Lunch boxes

If your child is having a packed lunch, we would please request a hard-plastic variety box that can be easily wiped down rather than one made from cloth fabric.

Sun cream

We strongly advise that a ‘once a day’ variety is purchased and applied by parents to your child prior to coming to school. Staff are unable to apply sun cream during the school day.

Coats

We encourage children to go outside as often as possible. This can include when there is light rain. Please ensure that your child has a coat with them at all times. Coats will be stored in their individual locker.

Stationary / Pencil Cases

There is no need to purchase any stationery resources or equipment for your child to bring to school. All pens, pencils, rulers, sharpeners, coloured pencils, felt pens etc will be provided by school.
