At Lea Community, we seek to nurture the “whole child” for the time they are entrusted to us and inspire within them a love of learning.
We have high expectations of all our children and work hard to ensure that each child achieves their full potential. Alongside academic progress, we feel it is equally important that our children are given opportunities to develop their social skills, self-esteem, and independence. We place high value on treating everyone, the environment and the community with respect and consideration and we aim to equip our children with the skills and values to become well rounded, informed and compassionate citizens within modern Britain.
I feel privileged to lead a team of professional, talented and committed staff who provide well planned, creative learning experiences that encourage our children to develop lively and enquiring minds. Our wide range of curriculum enrichment activities enhance this learning and develop confidence, ability and social skills within our children.
We offer a full range of ‘in-house’ emotional learning, pastoral and family support to ensure that emotional well-being, readiness for learning and engagement with school is given paramount importance.
We are fortunate in having a supportive and hardworking team of governors who are highly skilled in many areas. Governors and staff work together to provide our children and their parents with the very best learning opportunities and emotional and family support to ensure success.
