So far this year, in Year 4 we have had lots of exciting and enriching experiences to support our learning.

We had the pleasure of meeting Tejal who talked to us about how Hindus celebrate Diwali. We loved making the Rangoli patterns with rice, lentils and coloured powder. 

Through Bikeability we have also been developing our map reading skills, looking at the different symbols on an ordinance survey map.

Excitingly, we met the archaeologist, Professor Tuesday, who came in to talk about the Ancient Egyptians. We learnt lots about the different time periods of the Egyptian Pharaohs. Our favourite part was finding out how they turned the pharaohs into mummies. 

We have also visited a local high school to enhance and further our knowledge of circuits. We really impressed Mr. Jones with our prior subject knowledge.
