Walk around the Guild Wheel

As part of their work in Geography, Year 5 went on a fieldwork trip to the Guild Wheel section near our school. During the morning, the children collected data to analyse the positive and negative impact of humans on our local environment. 

Samlesbury Hall Trip

As part of their History topic on the Tudors, Year 5 ventured to Samlesbury Hall. During their day at the hall, they had a tour of the hall, learnt many new facts and took part in a Tudor drama scene. 

Walk to Ashton Park

The children walked to Ashton Park today as part of their geography topic of locality with recreational activity links. During the morning, they made observations, drew sketches, collected data, and underwent questionnaires within their small groups.
