  • World Book Day - 7/3/24

    World Book Day will take place on Thursday 7 March 2024. We will be inviting children to dress as a word linked to their current class topic! Please check ClassDojo for a list of potential words you could use for inspiration. Topics are as follows: EYFS- Space Y1- Peter Rabbit Y2- Flight Y3- Romans Y4- Egyptians Y5- Life cycles (Animals/ plants) Y6- WW2 In addition to this, following the success of our potato book character competition last year, we have decided to invite children to participate in this event again this year. Children are encouraged to create a book character from a single potato! There will be a first prize and runners up prizes per key stage. Children should bring their finished potatoes in on March 6th-no earlier- as we want them to be at their best for judging on World Book Day on 7th March.  Here are some examples of potato characters, our winners from last time:
