Lea Community plays an active role in our local community of Lea.

As a school, we have developed close links with our local Community Gateway unit, our local parish church and our surrounding community. Classes regularly visit the Community Gateway hub, St Christopher's Church, and gladly host a wide range of visitors to school to enhance their learning and development. 

Additionally, children are represented by our Eco Council and help to enhance our local community by litter picking and taking pride in our local surroundings.

Lancashire Constabulary policing team are familiar faces in school, regularly popping in to see how we are getting on and teaching us how to be safe. On their most recent visit, they hosted an assembly about being safe during Halloween and bonfire night. They regularly visit classes to teach them how to be safe within the local community. We are ever so thankful to Pc Abbie Ward, and her colleagues, who regularly check in and are very well known within school.
