Thank you
We have had another complaint from the local residents regarding drop off and collection times. Please can parents ensure they are being mindful of oncoming traffic on the road and they are being respectful to our local residents. Thank you.
A massive well done to all of our children and a massive thank you to all of our parents for their support with our first full week of focusing on both attendance and punctuality! We are really proud that last week we saw a 0.5% improvement on our whole school attendance and the minutes we lost from children being late has dropped from 907 minutes lost to 424 minutes lost. Please continue to encourage children to be arriving at school on time and being in school unless they are unwell with any of the symptoms listed on the NHS website. Children will be entered into the half way draws on Friday and we can't wait to share with you who are first winners are!
We are holding a coffee morning for parents on Friday 13th March 2026 which is focusing on gaming and gambling awareness specifically for parents, carers and guardians. The parent awareness coffee morning is free of charge and will last for 1hr 30mins 🙂
We have had further complaints from local residents this morning with respects to parking at both entrances to school. Please can you ensure that you are parking respectfully. Complainants have been told to log registration numbers with the police for anyone parking across driveways or unsafely.
Thank you everyone for your support do far with our attendance and punctuality month!
Last Monday (12/01/26) there were 9 children who arrived late to school. They missed a total of 85 minutes combined of learning time in the classroom.
This Monday (19/01/26) there were only 5 children who arrived at school late and they missed a total of 51 minutes. This is 40% reduction and a strong move in the right direction!
When comparing last Monday's attendance to yesterdays attendance we have also seen a 2.3% increase in our whole school attendance.
