We intend that the children  of Lea Community Primary School will have a positive attitude towards calculation and problem solving, using concrete and pictorial representations to support their mathematical understanding. We strive to ensure that all of our children are fluent in all areas of mathematics, applying their knowledge to real life and cross-curricular contexts. All children will be given the opportunity to regularly consolidate their learning to promote memory and meta-cognition of their Maths knowledge and vocabulary.
