Children at Lea Community Primary school will help pupils gain a broad knowledge and understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world as well as inspire pupils' curiosity to know more about the past. We aim to raise aspirations and open children's eyes to the world beyond their immediate environment. As children move through school they will become equipped to ask perceptive questions, think critically, weigh evidence and sift arguments. The history curriculum at Lea will also provide children with opportunities to expand their chronological knowledge as well as the chance to participate in enquiry based learning.
