Sporting Fixtures for the 2023/24 academic year:

KS1 Mini Skills
Boys Football
Girls Football

On Wednesday 8th November, the Year 5 and Year 6 Girls football team played in a tournament at Play Football. They competed extremely well as a team and narrowly missed out on qualifying for the quarter finals. Throughout the tournament, the girls supported each other well and improved with every game.

Hockey

After missing out on the league fixtures, our hockey squad set off for their first competition as a team at the annual hockey tournament. They were off to a flying start with a win in their first game, followed by back-to-back defeats. However, they showed their resilience to bounce back and win their final group game to secure second place and a spot in the final. Although they missed out on the first place trophy, they came back to school proud of their performance with a runners-up trophy.

KS2 Mini Skills

Six of our Key Stage 2 children went to West View Leisure Centre to take part in the first mini skills event of the year! They took part in a variety of different skill games involving throwing, catching, running and passing, as well as needing to demonstrate their teamwork skills. They represented the school with great pride and showed all of their school values throughout the trip!
