At cookery club, the children will become knowledgeable about the importance of a healthy balanced diet and lifestyle. After washing their hands, the children will work collaboratively to prepare delicious food and will then wash up the things that have been used. Each child who attends cookery club will come home with a healthy snack to taste.
Here are some examples of the healthy snacks that have been made.
- Fruit salad

- Fruit flapjacks with syrup alternative
- Christmas Fruit Punch
Encourage your child to be adventurous and attend cookery club!
Miss Connolly runs the Cookery Club at Lea. In the Autumn term, EYFS had the option to do this club. In the Spring term, it will be available to KS1 and in the Summer term, KS2 will have the opportunity to participate. The recipes will be age appropriate, therefore they will be different each term.
